The assurance of perfection

In our passage of interest today, Solomon prepared for the construction from start to finish. He did not grow weary. He did not give excuses. He stay focused. Now the work is done. He assigned people to serve in the temple. The singers and those helping the priests.

2 Chronicles 8:16 (KJV)

Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.

God instructed me sometimes back about people leaving the church. The instruction was simple: they are not built for the fight. When something great is about to happen in your life, God shed out the weak. The people that would slow down His move. Those that would pollute the mind of others against God’s will. I am sure some would think Solomon is crazy with the idea. Perhaps His father, David the craziest.

The vision and the process are two different things. God shows the vision and empowers you for the process. That’s all that it takes. When then vision is clear, it is capable of providing strength for the process. When you know what God is calling you to do, you just do it. You may not know how. Just do it and do it right. Stick to it from start to finish.

The beautiful part is that everyone would come to see the finished work at last. “...it was finished. So the house of the Lord was perfected”

The assurance is that God would build his church (you) and the devil would not take glory.
