Beauty for Ashes

God gave us promise in the book of Isaiah 61:3

to provide for those who grieve in Zion— to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise in place of a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified

Everyone has a past messed up life. You are not alone. It is what made us humans. We mess up. We learn. We grow. However, we must learn to appropriate God's ultimate promise for our lives to move on. When we trust and believe the truth in God's Word, then we start to see ourselves from His lens. Seeing ourselves from God's lens would inspire us for a new start.

There are times we grieve and unsure of what tomorrow holds. The promise of God is our only best option for tomorrow. His mercies are new every morning. We all have the capacity for a fresh start. He is the Enabler. He gives beauty for ashes. He is capable of turning our messes to the right message the world needs. Your story could be an inspiration to your generation. Let God be your potter. Would you allow him to take the lead while you trust Him to bring the best out of you?
